Call My Bluff

Call My Bluff is a dice bluffing game for 2–6 players. Each player hides their dice under a cup — only you can see your own. Your job is to bid boldly on what you think the combined dice show across all cups, then decide whether the next bidder is telling the truth or pushing their luck. The last player with dice wins.

Goal

Be the last player still holding dice. Every failed challenge (or over-ambitious bid) costs someone dice. Lose your last die and you’re out.

Setup

Each player begins with 5 dice, hidden under their cup. Only you can see your own dice. A random player opens the bidding.

On Your Turn

You have two options: Raise the bid or Call the Bluff.

Board Track

The board track has 30 spaces: 20 numbered-face spaces and 10 star spaces, interleaved in increasing order. Each space shows a quantity and face; you must always move forward to a higher (or equal-quantity, higher-face) position on the track. Star spaces require a star bid, which counts only ★ dice.

Stars (★)

On any numbered-face bid, stars count toward the total — a ★ acts as any number. When you bid specifically on stars, only actual ★ dice are counted (no wild effect).

The Great Re-Roll

After each bid, if you still have 2 or more hidden dice, you may invoke the Great Re-Roll. Select at least one of your hidden dice to reveal publicly — those dice are locked face-up for all to see. The rest of your hidden dice are re-rolled for fresh (still hidden) values. You must reveal at least 1 die and keep at least 1 hidden. After the re-roll, bidding passes to the next player.

Winning

When a player loses their last die they are eliminated. Play continues until only one player remains — that player wins the game.
