Stick'em (Sticheln)

A trick-taking card game for 3–7 players. Each round, every player secretly chooses one card as their misery card. The misery card's color becomes your misery color — every card of that color you capture scores negative points equal to its value. All other cards you capture score +1 each.

The twist: you never have to follow suit. The first card of a trick sets the lead color. Any non-zero card played in a different color automatically becomes a trump card — and the highest trump wins, regardless of color. Five rounds, highest total score wins.
